Baume & Mercier has added a flying tourbillon, ref M0A08841, to its famous William Baume collection after the ref M0A08796 with white dial.
The new turbillon is actually exacly the same as the previous model aside from black dial with vieux panier pattern and black alligator strap that together present a fresh look and distinctive elegance.Like previous model, the dial also features slim baton markers and hands in 18k rose gold.
The 43mm case is still done in 18k rose gold with refined polished satin finishes. Beating inside in the in-house made manual-winding WB-T 002 that provides the tasteful flying tourbillon at 6, small seconds at 6 and central hours and minutes. This movement features 52-hour power reserve and beats at 28,800 vph, while the completes one revolution every 60 seconds.The docoration on the movement is extraordinary: balance and bridges with Cotes de Geneve patterns, golden gears in satin finish,and the barrel and ratchets with smail patterns.
The flying tourbillon design, showased in a a gold-framed aperture, is the first tourbillon offered Baume & Mercier and represents its finest watchomaking art.
The new Baume & Mercier tourbillon watch is fitted with scratch-resistant sapphire at both sides. The one at front enhances the reading of the dial, while the other at back reveals the intricate operation of the movement
Held together by 7 18 rose gold screws, the case is water resistant to 30 meters. I guess, this Baume & Mercier tourbillon is launched in exclusive limited edition of just 10 pieces .
